At ACS Design, our Civil Engineers are predominately involved in the planning and design of physical infrastructure networks, which include streets and roads, water and wastewater systems and site development design. Working closely with ACS Surveyors, our civil engineers fit and serve fixed projects within their given site, community and terrain by designing grading, drainage, pavement, water supply, sewer service, and land (real property or boundary) divisions. Generally, engineers spend much of their time visiting project sites, developing community/neighborhood consensus, and preparing construction plans. Primarily focused on converting a tract of land from one usage to another, ACS Engineers typically apply the principles of Geotechnical Engineering, Structural Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Transportation Engineering and Construction Engineering to residential, commercial, industrial and public works projects of all sizes and shapes.
