Forensic surveying involves the detailed mapping of areas of land, structures, roads, etc. for the purpose of preparing presentation plats that are used to depict crime scenes, accidents, boundary line disputes, riparian (or water) rights, and the like. These plats are often rendered in color, or otherwise enhanced for clarity, to assist in making clear presentations to the judge, and often the jury. ACS DESIGN is experienced in performing forensic surveys and has performed surveys to establish County lines for jurisdictional court cases and site condition surveys to establish locations and distances with regard to accidents.
